Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about certificates and profiles

Where are my certificates stored?

All certificates are stored securely and assigned a unique public URL that you can share with anyone. Your certificates are permanently accessible and verifiable by employers or anyone you share them with.

Do I get a profile page?

Yes! You get a dedicated public profile page that lists all your earned certificates. Share your profile URL on your resume, LinkedIn, or portfolio to showcase all your verified credentials in one place.

Do I need to create an account or login?

Yes, you'll need to login to take tests. We use passwordless authentication - just enter your email and we'll send you a magic link to sign in. No passwords to remember! Once logged in, you can take any test and your certificates will be linked to your account. All profiles are public and shareable.

Can I add these certificates to my CV/resume?

Absolutely! Include your profile URL or individual certificate links in your CV. You can also add them to your LinkedIn profile, portfolio website, or anywhere else you want to showcase your professional development.

Can I display badges on my GitHub profile?

Yes! When logged in, your profile page displays badge images for each certificate. Click any badge to copy markdown that renders as a clickable image linking to your certificate. Paste it into your GitHub README or any markdown file. The badges are cached and optimized for fast loading, making them perfect for showcasing your achievements on your GitHub profile.

Are QR codes available for my certificates?

Yes! Each certificate includes a downloadable QR code that links directly to your credential. Add the QR code to your printed resume so employers can instantly verify your certificates by scanning with their phone.

Can I practice before taking the test?

Absolutely! Each assessment offers two modes: Training Mode and Test Mode. In Training Mode, you get instant feedback with explanations for every answer, helping you learn as you go. When you're ready, switch to Test Mode for the real assessment with randomized questions.

What happens if I don't pass?

You can retake any test as many times as needed - there's no penalty for failing. If you score below the 75% pass threshold, your profile won't display that certificate. Once you pass, the new certificate replaces any previous attempts. Use Training Mode to study, then try Test Mode again when you're ready.

Is my certificate data secure and private?

Your certificates are publicly accessible by design, and that's a good thing! Each certificate includes your name and email, making impersonation pointless. If someone claims your certificate as theirs, employers can instantly verify it's fraudulent by checking the email on the certificate. The transparency is the security, certificates are tied to your identity and easily verifiable.
